These systems are designed to provide filtered ambient cooling air to the electric motor intake at a positive pressure, ensuring clean adequate airflow through the cooling air passages of the electric motor. Additionally, the system can include ducting that directs heated exhaust air into the building enclosure.

Electric motor ventilation systems also provide the necessary silencing equipment to comply with the noise level specified by the customer.

Mueller’s electric motor ventilation system is a heavy duty, industrial type structure, designed and fabricated to operate for 30 years of continuous full load duty, except for routine maintenance. The system is suitable for installation in Class 1, Group D, Division 1 areas.
